So what is a Wapuu? It is the official WordPress mascot in Japan. Best description for it without a visual, Pokemon meets a koala. This cute mascot has been taking WordCamp sticker sheets by storm, from wapuus holding beach balls in Miami to sawing logs in Maine. The clever creation and implementation of these fun wapuus is endless.
Torque decided they are so much fun that they should do a design contest for their very own Wapuu. Several readers submitted awesome Torque Wapuu designs but only one walked away with the glory and the designed turned into custom stickers. Congratulations to Michelle Schulp for an awesome designed wapuu sticker. We are excited to see this addition to the stickers and sticker sheets spread out at WordCamps around the world.
